2006 blew by extremely fast. Extremely. Lets take a look at the events that unfolded this year... Jan 2006 - The whole becky disaster starts to form Feb 2006- Hurricane Becky strikes and takes a chunk out of my wallet. March 2006- Collections decides to pursue the damages from hurricane becky. Went to Victoria for a week to relax- Ended up touring all the strip clubs in 4 hrs with Jmah...Ended up going to *"Atlantis"* that night...a night Daniel won't forget..hahahah April 2006- Uneventful May 2006- Preparations for the move begin, mortgage approved. I am a homeowner. Revenue Canada decides to audit me for GST housing rebate. Fuck U Revenue Canada. June 2006- The big move- Goodbye Coquitlam, hello Burnaby. Manpower(TM) made the move smoother than it would have been. July 2006- countless BBQs and countless hrs setting up the new townhouse. Higashi West project is launched. Tomoki and I create the menu for Higashi and begin our high stress adventure. August 2006- More BBQs, Passed Canadian Securities course Exam 1 and 2 within the span of 4 weeks. Who says all that university cramming was bad? Its a very useful skill. Higashi West decides to unload Tomoki and myself to survive. September 2006- Salary bump, birthday party gone wrong, drama drama drama, took a nice vacation, came back more drama drama drama... October 2006- Hello Plasma TV, Hello HDTV, Fuck you non-HDTV channels. Hello NHL, Hello Roberto Luongo. November 2006- Entourage Season 1 - Present in a 3 night blitz. That is one good show. Also the realization of putting myself out there for a girl yielded nothing but loser like symptoms. That was gay..but whatever. December 2006- CIBC Annual incentive bonus, salary bump, xmas, boxing day, the best damn Canucks game ive ever been to, New Years Eve at the station...have you had your midnight kiss yet? lol Overall Impressions: It was defiantly a quick year, a year of change-mostly in attitudes. No explosions here. Somethings unusual, somethings strange. There is something i learned though...decipher who your real friends are- because everyone else is just a story. |
